Enjoy the silence is one of the all time greats, but for a less obvious choice, Never Let Me Down Again. I've always pictured it as an end credits theme tune to a blockbuster where there's a massive explosion going on in the background and the hero's walking out of the flames - god knows why?? |

I have an absolutely astounding mix of Policy of Truth mixed with sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics. If anyone wants it I can certainly send it to you by wattsapp- it's brilliant! |

"Can't decide between Enjoy the Silence and Just Can't Get Enough.
Think the latter wins by a squeak as I saw them live as they were just starting out and it stuck in my mind. "
Just cant get enough - an excellent choice |

Somebody.
It's an earlier song from the Some Great Reward album (1984). The lyrics are heartfelt and earnest and the style is quite unusual for DM (piano track, essentially).
But favourite song ? Too many to chose from, but I think World In My Eyes shares a top billing with Black Celebration for me. Followed by Enjoy the Silence.
Since Alan Wilder left, never been keen on most of their releases since. |

There's a whole album of Depeche Mode covers called For The Masses.
I think Rammstein's version of Stripped is on there and GusGus' version of Monument is even better than the original imo. |

Going Backwards is sublime
But Not Tonight is epic
Love everything they've ever done but if I had to choose it would be between Told You So and Policy of Truth
Seen them 34 times live |

New Life
I never quite liked them the same after Vince left following the first album.
Other ones I like though are:
Television Set (a great live video on YouTube)
Never Let Me Down
Enjoy the Silence |

Never Let Me Down, the live version from the 101 album. Majestic and emotional - forever linked to memories of a dear friend from school whose life has been turbulent ever since. |

Enjoy The Silence being played as the sun was rising at a festival I went to in 2010 was just out of this world.
I saw DM in Bilbao a few years, Gahan spinning around on stage like someone half his age. Brilliant. All time great British group. |
