Don't care what make or model of car you have but what's the one thing your car must absolutely have when you buy it?

Mine's heated seats... Oh baby

(And anyone else turn on their passengers heated seat without telling them, make them think they've wet themselves)

It's easier to answer I think, when you realize what you miss.

I really missed a centre arm rest when I had a hire car for a few days.

But, if you had asked me what I valued beforehand, it would not have featured.

I did the heated seats thing to my dad and it was hilarious watching him try to figure out what was going on.

Essentials - DAB radio! I had quite an in depth discussion with the guy in the dealership about why I wasn't going to buy the car as it had no DAB! Everything else was spot on, he had to transfer an almost identical car from Bristol for me

Yep it's all about the heated seats it seems.

I purchased my first ever drop-top last month. Whoever designed the seats is a genius as the heating extends all the way up the back of the seat and is so toasty hot. Would love the excuse to sit naked in it, preferably with someone sexy naked in the passenger seat.

I found them, they are on the doors.

"Are heated seats a northern thing.. we hardly get a frost down south

Don't have heated seats but can confirm that the temp here hasn't exceeded 1°C today

But schoolgirl error.. not stating your units..

Farenheight or Centigrade ?"

Read it again, Tom. 1°C. Units provided (clue: the C stands for something )

"Ooooo sweaty bum cracks aren't for me I'm Afaid.

All I want from a car is no more than 2 pedals "

I have started turning it down to the lowest setting and turning it off after its warm to avoid that.

Definitely a decent radio/music system.

I can put up with any amount of traffic with music or radio 4.

I can't wait for the summer so I can try the cooling function. My fuel consumption will go up when I start using that up her in the frozen north.

Years ago my parents had a Volvo which had heated seats. It was so cosy that I never wanted to get out the car lol x

The car I have now has an app where I can set the climate control before I get in, so on winter days it defrosted and warm when I go to use it. First time of having that function on a car but love it

"The rear seats in ours are also heated, which we've not experienced before

I've got those as well.but I don't know where the switch is for them.

Try looking in the back for them

I will, it's a bit of a foreign land for me unless I'm taking some shopping off the back seats.

The heated steering wheel is great.

The switches for our rear heated seats are on the end of the centre arm rest

I found them, they are on the doors. "

You will be able to tell your rear passengers how to warm up their cold arses now

Only if they don't tell me how to drive or which roads to take.

I’ve got to say I didn’t get what the big deal was about heated seats till we got our Tesla and now I wouldn’t want a car without them, rear seats are heated too which is handy for car based kinky fun.

You would certainly need them up here at the minute.

Honestly I went from a old Volkswagen to a Lexus and I noticed a huge difference, main one I noticed is the Lexus has cup holders, you don’t realise how much you miss them until you don’t have them also the heated leather seats are mint

Loving the sound of that, what is that function called? Climate control?

Well from what I've read Shangri-la is a tropical place and there is no need for them.
