Do you have to have a coffee in the morning?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By *hagTonight OP   Man  over a year ago

From the land of haribos.

I do and I cant function as good without one. I need the energy, in fact. I am drinking a coffee as I am typing this and of course, it is a home made one made from the aero press, my favorite one is called lavazza from italy

Yes I do and I like the richness from it. it is in powder form, so I heat up the water first and before I pour the water in the aero press I put the coffee there, how do you do it?

Yes, im on my forth cup this morning.

It's probably all psychological but I feel I don't get moving without it. I've gone mornings without it and I'm not as productive. I've the same relationship with crack, but that's a different story.

Today yes I will be but generally less of a caffeine fan these days. Don’t like the idea of taking anything which has an effect of increasing cortisol levels if you lead a stressful life already.

Tell myself to take a chill pill instead. No I don’t mean magic mushrooms or anything similar…

First one is always tea (unless on holiday away when is always coffee) , then at least one coffee and either coffee or tea as I feel like after that. Trying to drink more juice or water rather than tea or coffee though whenever I can and avoiding any juice with added sugar. I used to drink water only but got into bad habits lately.

I don't have to have it but I enjoy it. I love coffee but I try not to have caffeine in the day so I drink it earlier in the day and move to decaf or caffeine-free teas later.

Since becoming a Nespresso snob, though, I can squeak a coffee in later too if I fancy it. Their caffeine-free pods taste exactly the same as the regular version, if not better.
