Is it still January ?
Jump to: Newest in thread
So we're on day 167 of January and I've seriously got seasonal affective disorder ...or what ever it's called
Let's bring a ray of sunshine to the forum's and tell us all where nice are you going on holiday this year
I'm looking at doing another UK holiday somewhere down south as I'm saving up for my mega holiday in two years time (Japan)
What's your immediate plans and potential long term goal/dream holiday ? |

I have absolutely no plans on travelling abroad at this present time with restrictions still up and down in other countries im not paying an all inclusive holiday again to have to buy my drinks because I was limited to 3 a day and that was with just my lunch that's not what all inclusive means to me ... and pubs closing at 12 that's not a holiday either so for now it's staying in uk till things start looking up abroad x |

I have been going on UK breaks which have been lovely. In 2020 when we were allowed I went to Paignton for a long weekend and last year I went to North Yorkshire. I'm planning a post break up getaway back to Paignton in a couple of weeks to get over him |

Depends on where you’re talking. The Chernobyl plant is still heavily irradiated, Chernobyl the village less so, and Pripyat (that’s the city next to the plant) again, it’s irradiated but obviously not so much as the plant.
Saying that though, realistically Kiev is still a radiation hot spot, but only mildly so. Guess you’ve gotta weigh up your curiosity vs the risks.
I do hear the Ukraine is the place to be right now! Hot spot for Russia tourism |

I usually go a few times a year as it feels like a second home to me I always feel safe even when travelling alone down there - might even see if I can find a club next time I'm there |

Not booked anything as yet though no doubt be another Scottish get-away this year with the dog.
Dream get away would be to see more of Italy, Positano on the Amalfi Coast, Lake Garda, and Sorrento on the Bay of Naples.

"I don't do foreign holidays but I'll be with some friends camping in their field in Romney Marsh, surrounded by friends, family, campfires, swimming, sun, games, foraging and lots of food.
Bliss."
Back to basics ...leave the mobile at home ....I love it |
