I'm all out of ideas, what were your favorite days out as a kid?
The world is our oyster for the next 2 days but I can't think of anything to do with the kids, money is rather tight too.
Beach walk
Picnic
Woodland walk

Mud Monsters in the forest....just mud pies, stick on the tree and create faces using leaves, stones, sticks
Make treasure maps and use pictures of different tree types, leaf types and animals you might see in the woodland and they can tick off when they have found it
Beachcombing, see who can find the most interesting item on the beach. Give them a sketchpad and ask them to draw the landscape
