I didn’t actually have any up, I think I must have been the only hormonal male teenager in my village that didn’t have a ‘Betty Blue’ poster on their wall.

I did have a football cupboard though where I kept all my match programmes and scarves and the like and had a squad photo and fixture list inside the door of that.

Oh and a porn mag or two I somehow acquired stashed away safely

A full size madonna poster. It had an orange background and she had a black studded wristband with something in her mouth and she had a black sleeveless top on. For me that's her most beautiful. I asked for that poster for months maybe even years and my mum eventually bought it at The Barras market. I think it was on my ceiling. I adored that poster. "Sam fox, Sam fox and Sam fox! "

I dated her a few times in the eighties. Nothing serious. She was difficult to get on with.

Muhammed Ali in his prime standing over an opponent. Let's be honest he was gorgeous. Who wouldn't want to look like him, or date him?

My dad was an art dealer and always had way too many paintings and nowhere to hang them.

My bedroom looked like a long-forgotten dusty annex in The Louvre .
