A while back,(few months) my right upper back teeth broke and fell out over time bit by bit, I thought, oh dear, wont use that dentist again.

Now I have a new tooth emerging at nearly

56 years old!!!!.

Does this happen a lot, or am I really really special

It's a wisdom tooth. Notorious for causing immense pain as they come through and push out the one in the way.

My old cleaning lady had really little teeth and explained to me that she still had a full set of milk teeth, even though she was in her forties. Her dentist didn't feel inclined to do anything about it and so she still has another full set of teeth to go on when these finally come out. How brilliant is that!

So I'm guessing it's possible that you may still have had a baby tooth as well. Either that, or you were cloned with a crocodile
