Not chased and possibly not celebrities but I did spend an awful lot of time hanging around the gates of Silverstone when the f1 testing sessions were on collecting autographs from the drivers.

Had to Google but he IS pretty famous! I recognised the groups he’s been in rather than his name tbf. |

Lady Di visited my school once (..well, she weren't likely to do it twice!)..
Barely got to see her, I just remember a flash of heavy make-up, and a bunch of us kids chasing her limo as she was driven away..
F**k knows why, I didn't idolise her even a little |

True story. Our head told us Jimmy Savile was on a local marathon and would run past our school as we left that evening.
Sure enough he came past with a small entourage and a mob of us schoolboys ran for a while with him.

Rolf Harris came to our school and painted a F Off huge mural that was hung in the main lobby for years, I’m guessing it’s gone now! |

I yelled at most of the peloton when the Tour de France came through Yorkshire and started ascending Holme Moss. I may have shouted a name or two also. Such a fan girl |
