What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of your brother or sister

Don't get me started about my brother. Liar, cheat, thief, conman, fraudster. Always blames other people for his failures. Now he's done another of his disappearing acts claiming others have caused him problems. Always leaves a trail of devastation behind. |

Oh god, how long have you got?? My sister isn't much of a sister at all. She thinks she knows everything but the reality is that she understands nothing. When I opened up to her about me having depression, she didn't believe me, she got up and walked away. I wish I had never told her |

"I have three. My sisters are amazing wonderful human beings. I haven't seen my brother in 20 years."
Very much the same.
3 sisters, although ones dead. That we love and are close to. But a brother who lives about three miles away that we never see. |

Wow. Reading some comments aren't I glad I'm an only child.
I'm always asked would I have liked brothers or sisters. No to be honest. I grew up with great friends so felt I never missed out. |

My three close friends are everything to me. I've had more love and support from them, than my from my own family x |

To me, my biggest success in life is to have raised 3 kids who are genuinely fond of and close to each other. My brother and I are simply connected through an accident of birth. I am lucky enough to have a female cousin a few years older who has become like a sister in recent years and was very supportive of me when my parents were in declining health. |

My brother is in Australia, that's why I never see him. Although never close. |

OP, a fellow Stopfordian (although I left Stockport 7 years ago)
One sibling is doing his best to give our nephew a great upbringing. He lives 400 miles away. I miss him but he's living his life. I take my hat off to him for that.
The other sibling is a grade A cock splash And not in the good way. |
