My kid loves em too. I have spent many many an hour watching them up close and even had a penguin try and come home with us

At the South Lakes zoo in Dalton.
They just waddle over to you and have a nosey. Super friendly little birds and I fell head over heels in love! |

Certain species of adult penguins will attack, drive out, literally stamp on and have no qualms about killing baby penguins that don’t belong to them, if they venture away from their actual parents and come onto their turf….
