Think I've bought everything second hand at some time in my life. The only things that I wouldn't are medical and underwear/swim trunks.

Seems a good thing to me - cheaper, reduces landfill and is better for the environment.

Local Facebook groups are a great way to find or get rid of stuff.

I would say many people would buy used things, depends on what people can afford. Not everyone can afford to buy everything new in the current economical climate x

Most non electricals are fine buying second hand after visual inspection. Furnityre from charities, books, crookery, kids clothes (ones you can wash well), toys, tools, bicycles. Electrical and electronic stuff is a bit riskier if it's resold without a warranty. Off likits are second hand shoes, underwear, and obvioysly sex toys, hahaha
