From the land of haribos. |
I liked my school years and I liked many subjects too, my 2 favorite ones was pe. I was really good at sports too and the other subject was woodwork. I am not sure if that is the right translation of the subject, is it called woodwork here in england too? We made lots of different wooden things, like carving and used the machines, it was fun |

Woodwork works
I didn't have a specific lesson for it though, but had CDT (Craft, Design, Technology) which had lessons covering the design and creation of things with woodwork, metal casting, plastic forming, etc. |

I had an odd relationship with school.
I loved learning (still do), but hated most of school. The uniforms, the teaching methods, the people... urgh.
Tech college and uni were much more my style of learning.
At school my fav subjects would have been English (I was rubbish at most of it, but loved writing stories), CDT (kick started my passion for creating things), Graphic design and Computing Science. |

History and English were my 2 favourite subjects. Loved finding different subtext and interpretations within a piece of writing or a cartoon that showed attitudes at the time.
It formed a big part of how I try to deal with situations today |

Maths and business - the two things that I think can help you the most in life and starting your career. Admin, everyone needs one. Accounting, everyone needs one.
Textiles - a piss about subject. I took it at gcse so I could concentrate on my other subjects. |

Physics and technological studies (I won the school prize a couple of times) and despite my size I enjoyed PE - I was on the basketball team and competed at the county sports.

For me it was the easy subjects or the ones I could dog, as I don't really engage at school. But when I was at school dogging it had an entirely different meaning, it was playing truant.
But now I think education is one of the most important things in life.
Oh yes I now teach. |

Maths and anything to do with business studies.
Hated English especially English literature.
Wish I didn't bunk class and smoke now though, as I would be so much better and confident in descriptive writing. |

RE, classics, English lit and language, history and PE.
I absolutely immersed my self in those subjects, maths I hated with a passion.
I didn't have a very easy time as a teenager, and was unable to continue studying as I would have loved to. |

Art, Woodwork, Dance, Cross-Country running
History, Geography, Biology
Maths, Computer Science, Economics
I went down the maths route, much to the annoyance of my art and woodwork teachers, as I had the top grades in school. I sometimes wonder where I'd have ended up if I chose differently...

PE. It was my escape. And I excelled at most sports. Should of gone further but family couldn't afford it and I lived in the back of beyond in Cornwall and training was difficult.
Didn't like school at all.
I was bullied, and had an older brother that was the school bully as well.
Small town with small mines and to this day my school life/brother gets brought up when I go home.

School kids can be very cruel and when they live in a small town, well!
I live in a small town now and all I see is small town mentality from those that have never lived anywhere else or experienced anything of the world apart from 2 weeks on the Costas every year. There is nothing wrong with the Costas but there is far more to see and experience.
Education is the key. |

I liked science, but only the biology bit, but those of us that didn't excel in all 3 had to take the exam with them all lumped together, hence I failed. Had I been able to take the 3 separate exams I would have passed 1.
I still enjoy it and love to watch medical /human body /autopsy documentaries. In another life I would be working in the medical field. |

Pretty much all of the subjects. There was nothing I loathed.
Took Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Spanish A levels. The Spanish was for fun mainly. The Sciences because I needed them for my intended uni course. I attended some of Mr KC's Geology A level classes, again for fun. And eye candy |

I loved English, History and Music. Also Maths until it felt pointless. I liked being able to add up, I never liked it when it started using letters instead of numbers, I just couldn't see the point.
Plus absolutely loved Sociology which I did for A levels |

English Language
English Literature
I despised Art, Biology and PE, and informed the respective teachers that I would not be doing these subjects.
They balked until I reminded them that :
Art : You asked me to imagine a scene and draw it. I did. You asked for something that reflected a force of nature. I drew a volcano. Standing on the edge of the volcano lip looking in to the lava stood a muscular barbarian (think Conan). You complained about the barbarian. I explained that he was also a force of nature and you had completely missed the allegory. Besides, there was the volcano, as requested. I couldn't take the art teacher seriously after that.
Biology : I will not cut up dead frogs. Those frogs did not need to die for my education. We had books with dead frogs in them from people who had done this a million times before. I felt it cruel and unnecessary.
Sport : House captain. Winner of all competitions. Got fed up with it. Told the teacher that it was time for others to have a chance. It was actually embarrassing to come first in everything. I felt bad for the other kids. It felt it demotivated them.
I then said I could use the free time to spend on my 2 best subjects for extra study.
Rather wisely for them they agreed and I graciously thanked them.

French.... because Mrs Scudamore was so fucking hot! When she crossed her legs I could see the slip under her dress. My teenage mind added so much to the wank bank from French Class! |

I naively didn’t think teachers had this effect on teenage boys. Mind you, I used to teach French at a boys’ school, and came into the classroom one day to see ‘je t’aime’ chalked all over the board. It seemed I had a 16 year old admirer. Very sweet! |

Loved English literature, biology, art and drama. My mum’s then husband wouldn’t let me take art and drama for my final years through, had to do chemistry, which I hated at the time.
Went on to get my English Literature degree and my nursing so I guess that the choices he made for me, regarding my education, helped.
Wasn’t much for PE, when we focused just on running, but loved team sports. Was in the hockey, rounders and netball team xx
