I had never heard of her so just had a quick read online. She seems a remarkably talented woman, clearly very intelligent. To be a professor in her 30's is a big achievement and I agree with her humanist stance.

No idea who she was. A brief, intensive Google later. Yes, she's rather pretty. But I prefer Dr Phillipa on this morning. She is a beautiful woman. Comes across as all sensible but you can see a twinkle and feel that the halo will slip.

On Dig Britain or whatever it’s called she got giggly over a Roman phallus which was a rather titillating.

I like her considerably. She's got a light touch, she's unassuming and hugely personable. Not to mention knowledgeable and informative.

Fair do's. She does cover historical aspects. I like her programmes. She makes this accessible.

A "Professor of the Public Engagement in Science" not bitter whatsoever lol. Actually have some of her books. But Professor Bettany Hughes is my favourite TV Prof.

Mr KC very much appreciates a Dr Alice Roberts programme, both for the scientific and archaeological content and also the lovely vista

I don't think Charlotte Church is on the same intellectual plain, but I agree she is very hot.

I recommend VCM's book "Once More With Feeling", when her and a friend wrote and directed their own porn movie (before Internet porn became the thing)

Alice Roberts is one of my favourites. Incredibly knowledgeable, extremely well read and qualified. She's easy to watch, never patronises and shows a genuine excitement for her (many) subjects.
