I would not normally contribute to a post like this posts like this do seem to create controversy and often heated exchanges which I am not here for. But I am a bit perplexed as to why some people think they are entitled to make assumptions about those with no profile pics. I for one have plenty of private pics and will share only when I feel comfortable to do so and have done on many occasions and not because someone feels entitled to it or pressumes I have something to hide. There will always be strange people who hide behind anonimity amd you usually can see that soon enough. However there are also people who can have all sorts of good reasons, that does not include hiding it from their wife, issues in the past with trolls, pic collectors, worries about work or even more serious stuff and that applies to both men and women. They might just be here as they are lonely, very shy not confident and taking a step at a time or just enjoy contributing to the forum. Whatever their reason, its for them to decide as long as they don't cause harm or mischief in anyway and are honest with those they strike a friendship or arrange meets etc. It's not for anyone to make assumptions as to why other people don't just plaster their pics for all to see before they feel comfortable to share. There are lots of other stuff that people with pics do or post or write in their profile that can often be much more revealing than the pic itself. Especially about their character. I am not someone who likes to post anything controversial and respect the opinion of others as well as their choices. This is just my opinion and will not be involved in the usual barage of controversial replies. Respect to all. |

If those without pics like to converse (in private) with those without pics (and are expecting to meet) then carry on....

Indeed, some folks seem to be focused solely on the superficial. That's fine, each to their own, but for those who like to make an effort there is more to profiles than just a picture. |

Everyone is free to use the site however they wish but I do find that those with no pics whatsoever often message me without reading my profile which says if you've got no pics them don't expect a reply.....and they don't get one.
Of course feel free to not have any pics but also expect that you won't get a reply from a lot of people either so you're often limiting yourself on here as well. |

My way of operating has always been .....
Someone messages me.
I look
I message back
We banter ( or not )
We go to the phone and chat ( no phone sex )
I get an easy feeling
We cam ( not sex cam )
We meet ( or not )
I've never needed a picture.
What makes me smile more than anything on these threads are the people who believe that their pic..... makes them attractive or a better person or genuine...... or that their profile is a true representation of how OTHERS see them OR that their spotty arse is a better 'hook' or their 58 pics of a womans bits but no pic of the bloke.
Get over yourselves and live your own life.
Do what you want.
And if what you want is saying ....... OMG they haven't got a pic- how ever do they get shagged...then fill your boots. |
