They probably were just not interested but did not know how to say it, or did not want to. The easiest option for them was the block button. Not your problem at all. |

Not necessarily, it can often have the opposite response where said person then wants to enter a but why not type ping pong message.

It's not worth losing any sleep over, I was sent a message complimenting me on my profile photos a few mins ago and when I went to send a quick thanks I'm blocked! There's nowt so funny as folk  |

You are missing the point, we could indeed have a "no thank you" response ready to press ctrl v, makes no difference, the receiver of said message will still not be deterred, & may even wait say 2 weeks before trying again, in the vague hope one has changed their mind or lost their marbles and not remembered saying no already!  |
