As I sit here I can see a little tyre forming around my waist...

i found the gym boring...

running is bad for the joints...

Should I buy a bike and all the clobber and hit the road?

Or buy an exercise bike for home instead, saves going out and you can still post

I hated the gym too, and cannot run as I have arthritis in my knees but I do zumba twice a week. Maybe some kind of exercise class where you get moving and keep moving for an hour or more.

Motivate yourself then!

Say to yourself for every 10 mins I do a day, I'll have an extra 10 mins stamina for my meets

I walk too, took it up earlier this year and have lost a stone and a half so far. I'm no good at diets and have seen lots of friends in our age bracket suffer injuries via the gym, zumba and cycling, so I went for a gentler option I have done 5 miles today and am still raring to go

Also have a tracker on my phone (Endomondo ) which helps to encourage me to keep up the exercise

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Sit ups don't use up an storage space. Put the Julie picture at your feet and look at it 50 times a day.
