As swingers, what's everyone's perspective on soul ties and do you believe in them?
Some people say its a myth, some say it only takes a one night stand...?
What are your thoughts on this?

So it's suggested that 'soul ties' are the exchange of energies of those who take part in intercourse.
The later on effects of a soul tie, is that one may take on characteristics of the significant other, maybe even think te way they think. Ect |

I do believe in certain energy exchanges during sex can cause more attachment than necessary for the relationship. Like cuddling and sleeping together post sex. I’ve found when i don't engage in those things i can manage my emotional connection far better. Thats just me though. |

No I don't believe that having sex with someone can cause "soul ties". I do believe that having a long, close relationship can bond you to someone in ways that you can't understand on an intellectual level but it needs way more than sex to do that. |

Does it mean like chemistry? Sex can release bonding hormones so I'd agree that even a one night stand may result in a bond.
People in a relationship often end up being more alike.
Sometimes they grow apart. |

I agree with this. We do exchange energies, especially in something intimate like sex. |

What's your experience? If have one? As in a time where this occurred outside of a relationship? If you're open to talk about it? |
