Good evening Ash and nocturnal crew. It's been a ridiculously busy day and made all the more challenging by having to WFH and do home education of a Reception age child. Kudos to Mr KC for taking on most of it because I was completely inundated with work stuff. Managed to interview a dude on Teams without any embarrassing kid actions - winning!
Too knackered to go to basketball tonight and then my clicky pelvis/hips did a massive crunch and my bad leg is..... purple? I'm sure that's normal anyway |

"On this day 1954 Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio got married." Another bit of trivia which I believe to be correct. They were in the process of a reconciliation and talked about getting remarried just before her death. Joe Di Maggio put a single red rose on her grave every day up until his death apparently. Sure that can be checked. I will have a look and if it’s nonsense I will put my hands up about posting misinformation |

Last year I saw some footage of John Lydon promoting a Pil record on some children's Saturday morning tv show. Live from Alton Towers, he's hating it. It's funny. And he spits out something like "buy my record". |

I think it was more than a few years ago, 2007. But I could be wrong. I'll have to check out some PiL. I don't know why I haven't listened to them before. think they only did a couple of albums before John Lydon went solo. I remember they sang Pretty Vacant possibly another 1 or 2 Pistols songs but can’t remember. It was 85/86 at a guess. He did a song called world destruction with Africa Bambata which I really liked. Not heard it in 30 years and is probably awful
Last year I saw some footage of John Lydon promoting a Pil record on some children's Saturday morning tv show. Live from Alton Towers, he's hating it. It's funny. And he spits out something like "buy my record". He is a very prickly character but he is also very bright.
Oh, I like John Lydon. By coincidence I listenined to an unbroadcasted BBC radio interview from 1978 last night. In which John Lydon called out Jimmy Saville." I seen a little of it when he was on Piers Morgan. He said he approached many people with his concerns but got totally shut down |

World Destruction ^ I will listen to it while I’m working during the day. I remember a line something like “it’s a world destruction you life ain’t nothing the human race is becoming a disgrace” I don’t think Dylan or Bacharach we’re quaking in their boots at the Grammys for the songwriter of the year award "
I enjoyed it. John gave Ronald Reagan a kiss at the end. |

My dad had those record cases. Thinking of them takes me back to the front room of the first house I lived in. |
