We'll get ours in the resale like usual, if we decide to go. £400 is a LOT of money now.

That's for 2 of us View. You can really call it £500 all in once you've considered everything including money whilst you're there so it's a HUGE outlay.

For the music we would rather go to Cambridge, 25th-28th July.

Fuck it, I'm off to shoot naked models !

Left the card numbers and registration details with one of my daughters, she's going to try once they've got tickets (if !) for themselves and the kids (who don't need tickets anyway as they're all under 12 !)

We're taking a football team...me, S, 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws and 3 grandkids !! Just need a goalkeeper !!

I'd be careful getting too carried away. If they suss that you have cheated the system they will simply cancel your order. They've done it before...

I was just talking with a friends about the 80's and 90's. I can remember paying at the gate at Reading and Glasto buying a ticket from HMV about 2 weeks before.

I hate the stress of trying for tickets which is one reason that I never tried this year. Plus as others have mentioned it's expensive, ticket, travelling, conservative £50 a day spending money and your looking at £500. And I can't really justify that when I haven't had a payrise in 2 years.

Technically, I didn't cheat the system and there's no way they can find out.

P.O. Box DE1 0NQ

Rock & Blues at Pentrich is much more accessible (at least for me)

Been to plenty of festivals over the years & Reading & Knebworth have been the best.

So what you're saying is you're happy to fork out £500 or there abouts and you don't even know who's playing. All you're guarenteed is piss and shit ridden toilets and swamps for campsites.

There are that many stages, it's virtually guaranteed we can find enough bands we want to see to cover the 3/4 days, then factor in how much gigs cost these days and 2 half decent headliners on either puff the two main stages and you've made your entry fee !

Toilets are nothing like as bad as they used to be and the last twice we've been, the weather has been glorious

With the amount of bands that are on there are always going to be some people you like.

And the reason the line up isn;t announced until after the tickets is to discourage people that display that attitude and are just their for one name band and to attract those that are interested in the festival as a whole.

If the rumours on e-festivals are as accurate as they usually are, this years line up will be as string as ever.
