I've had airfryer in the past. They more or less do as you'd expect, but nothing incredible. They vary in price. The Ninja Foodis are at the higher end, but do a lot more. They air dry well. Something like chips, for example, they cool well. I guess it depends on what you want from a kitchen appliance. If you just want air frying, then a multipurpose appliance possibly doesn't make sense.

I am not into gadgets personally but my friends have one with a rotisserie and they love it. I certainly not getting on as I will probably sit and watch the rotisserie going round and round for hours

I’ve heard great things about the Ninja, but couldn’t justify the price just for homemade chips I mean I know it’ll do a lot more, but I’m a lazy and unimaginative cook.

It depends on what you cook and how often. Roast vegetables, chops, fish, sausages etc cook cleanly and efficiently but if you're are stews and casseroles type of cook you won't use it much.

We've got one of those Ninja foodi dual air fryers and use it quite a lot.

They are amazing, mine cooks chips in 10 mins where in an oven it would be 25 mins. Any grease is collected in the basket at the bottom.

I have a Vonshef bought from Amazon some 5 years ago
