If you went out to your car and happened to notice a woman, alone, in a garage opposite, trying to balance a piece of furniture and push a large, and obviously fairly heavy box along with her foot, to make room to set the piece of furniture down, would you:

a) ignore her and do whatever you were doing?

b) ask if she would like some help?

c) stand and watch her struggle, making no effort to hide your staring?

Whilst I was busy giving myself a hernia, the guy who came out chose option c.

He drives a taxi. I'm tempted to go and let all his tyre down. Fucker.

I do hope it amused him.

There wasn't room to do one thing at a time. The ground was wet outside so I couldn't move anything out of the way. The only way to get to the box was lift the shelf thingy off the top and then shove it over enough to put the shelf thingy down.

Maybe he thought you would feel uncomfortable being in the garage with him and he was staring cause he couldnt make his mind up whether to come and offer to help or not

"Guess it depends on what she was wearing"

Jeans and a t-shirt. I tend not to wear short skirts and heels, or burger costumes, to move stuff around in a garage!

I would choose option b, because I have stuff to do too. I would have also asked for help from someone before taking on a job that I might not be able to do alone.

I did ask someone to help me. I've been waiting 10 days for him to have time. I'm away for a week as from tomorrow so I had no choice but go do it myself.
