07/07/2005 will always bring back certain memories.
I was working in Central London at the time, at Great Ormond Street that turned itself into a make-shift A&E hospital for the day, lived in a block of flats about 200m down the road from the bus bomb and had to show the police my driving license in order to go home.
My car was parked about 50m from Russell Square tube station, and was part of the crime scene for nearly 2 weeks.
I was having shingles at the time and was in a great deal of pain.
My dad died two days later and I could not leave to be with my mum as I was still contagious.
All in all, not a good year.
