I find myself reading most profiles I click on. It's not the length that puts me off; more often than not it's the bad grammar, spelling mistakes or text talk that makes me not read all the way to the bottom.

If you want to know more about someone and they have taken the time to write their profile - it shouldn’t be too long for you to read their words no matter how epic a feat it may seem.

there are some that I don't finish they're often the ranty shouty demanding ones.

I like detailed profiles, especially ones with humour. I don't mind spending the time reading them before I message as can't be arsed with empty,pointless messages if we don't match interests x

What do we do?

Look at the pics and think yummy, I want to know more… then you read the profile and still want to know more… hopefully!

Or read a comment in the forums and think WOW! I like what this person is saying then look at their profile… picxx as and text and again, hopefully, want to know more.

If you get to the point where the profile no longer appeals to you then leave… that person probably is not right for you and it is pretty guaranteed that if you can’t be bothered to read their profile, you are not for them!

A profile is only the wrong length; long or short, if that person is not for you.
