I usually go for a light lunch like a small salad or a sandwich. Today I was starving and just devoured a big ball of pappardelle pasta with bolognese sauce and lots of grana padano. Do you go for a light lunch or something more substantial?

What’s lunch?

I’ve been ill for the few weeks, it’s going well if I have two meals a day

Sorry to hear, hope you are both feeling better soon. A light chicken broth perhaps?

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

I only eat twice a day, a substantial breakfast late morning like some eggs on toast with avocado, or a big bowl of porridge with banana and honey, and then that’s it until dinner

I am not particularly good with breakfast ( I know that's not good), usually have a light healthy lunch ( except the ocassional snickers) and a normal dinner. Today though I could not resist the big ball of pasta for lunch so will have to go easy with the dinner, definitely no second helpings

I break my fast anywhere in the day, I'm led by my hunger.

Yesterday was about 5pm and today was half one with liver and bacon, I'll eat again tomorrow.

I generally only eat once a day on nutrient dense food,

I'll take the homemade chicken liver pate though. I don't eat carbs so no crakers for me.
