Good morning, another week gone already!

I’m feeling a little upset and frustrated as I process some stuff that’s come up, but I’ve finished my assignment and it’s back to uni tomorrow so that’s positive.

How are you feeling? x

Not feeling too great. Full of a cold and sore throat.

Also, feeling quite down about life in general

I'm doing OK. Still dealing with a family loss late last year, but it gets easier every day. It helps to talk about things, I know that first hand. And I wholly applaud this thread OP. Hope things are going well for you all

Better than last week.

The days are getting lighter, but I’m still really not in the mood for doing any work.

Today would have been my ma’s birthday, so it usually makes me a bit reflective. I’m on my last day of two weeks off. (Don’t tell the daily Mail.) so I’m going out for lunch then the cinema. She’ll be with me in spirit.

I feel pretty good! I’m also here if anyones struggling

Overall, I'm ok. I'm back at the gym and getting back into a routine and work is picking up again after it was a bit quiet last week too which helps. Wish I had more hours in the day to get other stuff done around work and gym as would like to to relax a bit more but that's the life of adulting I guess. January is still too fucking long though!

I’m in a pretty good place. Feeling very positive after spending last week re-establishing my routines. I’m firmly back in it now, and it feels great.

Feeling a bit better today but the black dog reared it's ugly head on Saturday night at a club (of all places) and I became pretty overwhelmed. Had a massive low esteem /confidence crisis which wasn't great. Anyway, had words with myself, had a bit of self care yesterday (not that kind!!) and writing it off as a blip.

Always happy to reviewed messages of anyone needs to chat. Truly x

Imagine a movie scene, there’s a guy walking down the road, car crashes, houses explode, an asteroid hurtling towards earth, volcanoes erupting, earthquakes and a 10 metre tsunami heading straight towards him..

I’m the guy

Struggling today, post covid headaches and constantly drained is now starting to have its toll on my mental health.

Feeling isolated and lonely if I'm honest,

Terrible start to the year reached breaking point.

BUT work have been fantastic and I am getting the help that I desperately needed.

It is a massive cliche but finally admitting I was struggling and talking to people has already made such a huge difference

Is there a reason it's so low? Mine was probably alcohol related but I just got to the point of self hatred and disgust. Awful feeling. Luckily I've learned how to deal with it and pull myself out. Do you know what you need to do or need help?

This will no doubt sound silly but meant to be having my first meet on here but the female I'm meeting seems to have gone funny on me, would have been my first ever meet, so I'm thinking that it's me and not good enough.

Tall guy, put some better pictures up. I looked at your profile as I was going to compliment but there's very little to see!!

Anyways, it takes a while to get your head around but getting your self worth from complete strangers who you have no connection with is not a healthy way to go. Try to make some real connections with people in forums as they're a genuine friendly bunch

Ok will do, what would you suggest as have some face pics hidden in here.

I do chat in forums, but all the ones connect with are 100's of miles away lol

Just have a look and at some other profiles and see what you think would look good on you. If you're not happy with face pics don't do it. I only show mine to friends! But I would just gloss over your profile as it tells me very little!

Feeling fairly good today. Had a few moments over the weekend where I wasn’t particularly happy, but that was external influence rather than internal.

It was the first anniversary of my brother's death on Sunday. I took Friday and Monday off work as I didn't know how I was going to react.

I was fine right up to midnight on Saturday into Sunday then all that emotion bubbled up and I slept terribly.

I'd arranged a full day out on Sunday so I wasn't thinking about it until later and was fine with that, and then slept like a log after I came home.

Have been quite productive at home on Monday and now contemplating bed ready for going back to work in a few hours time.
