Oh that sounds lovely OP!
I'm marinating chicken thighs in a jerk paste so those with a griddled halloumi and rainbow carrot salad. I really love edamame beans atm so they'll make an appearance as well.
Complete with a bowl of pineapple for pudding. And not give in to the urge to do a full roast. |

How does one get an invite to a dinner date? I’ll bring the wine and dessert if that helps sway your decision x |

Something simple like boiled ham that I have cooked, cured by the butchers (they do a good job with it to be honest!), perhaps with Branston pickle in a sandwich with a hot marmite.
Then steamed fish & onions with mixed veg & garlic mashed potato's & either a white sauce or parsley sauce for tonight. It's feeling colder - steamed food really warms me up! |

Ooh, yum. Jerk chicken, especially drizzled with West Indian hot pepper sauce. Washed down with a glass of Appleton's 8 year old Reserve

I already had a big ball of pappardelle pasta and bolognese sause for lunch as was starving. Lots left and will make some bechamel sauce, stick it on top with some grated pandano cheese and bake for a bit later |

"Liver and bacon...again!
I have a bit of gorgeous cheese in the fridge, I rather fancy that with a coffee later.
Tell me more about the cheese "
Cheese is life!
I'm nibbling on a lump of Castello brie at the moment and I tasted one over Christmas made in Hampshire and wrapped in bark that was one of the best I've tasted. Can't remember the blasted name though!
Do you stick to cheddar or is anything fair game? |

"Spag Bol with chicken mince..."
I was stocking the chillers today with a colleague and we thought that chicken mince would have an odd texture cooked like that.
I finely chop chicken and chorizo, mix it with parmesan and aromatics and fry them burger style. |

I've got a butternut squash hanging around waiting to be eaten, think I'm gonna try and roast it in my air fryer with some various spices and seasonings. Plus some sort of protein, probably an egg. |

Too tired today for much cooking. Just a pizza but with lots of extra toppings of various things from the fridge to elevate it. Served with a mixed salad à la grecque with extra feta and olives (yes I know some of you don't like olives but I could live on that, cheese and lovely crusty bread) |
