Just carrying on from a similar post the other day,about things most of us have forgotten about or in some cases aren't old enough to remember. Got me thinking back to when TV finished around midnight and the national anthem was played. When you turned the "black and white" tv off, a tiny white dot remained in the centre f the screen for some time !! Really showing my age.

I remember dozing off on the sofa and waking up and those vertical signal lines where on the screen and probably been there for a few hours.
