Playing the ‘Let’s Dance’ album recently as I love the track ‘Criminal World’. Didn’t realise it was his Birthday.
Also ‘Absolute Beginners’ is another amazing track, or even ‘Life on Mars’ one of the first singles I bought.
Jesus he was good |

This is a spooky thread. I decided to get all my Bowie vinyl out last night instead of listening to my CDs. I listened to David Live and Aladdin Sane and the sound is so different. I am going to listen to them in order up until Lodger, he got to commercial after that for me. |

"On YouTube there is a video of a pole dancer performing to Lady Grinning Soul. It's nothing short of breathtaking."
Just watched this, it's excellent. She makes it look so effortless. Thanks for the recommendation. |

"Am I the only one who didn’t like his music and thought his singing was a bit crap??"
Over the years I have read articles where people have said that Bowie songs saved them from very dark places. I do not ever imagine I will read that about Ed Sheeran.
"Hold on to me cos ya wonderful..oh gimmi ya hand, cos your wonderful".
"Oh give me ya hand". |

I’m not a massive fan of Bob Dylan, Elvis or even the Beatles but I recognise their talent and what they brought to modern music. I mean Morrissey just sings like a pent up teenage boy who needs a wank.
It’s about recognising they brought something new, exciting and unique not if I liked them or not. |
