Hanley

There is a video of him doing an 8 minute drum solo on YouTube and I could watch it over and over again.

An amazing talent.

Worthing

I've actually been binge listening to all of the Rush back catalogue and video releases. Excellent band and Peart was part of it with his fantastic drumming and lyrics. Saw them back in 2007. Amazing show.

2007, that would have been the Snakes and Arrows tour. That's when I saw them at Sheffield Arena. Brilliant show. The only down side for me was the set list didn't include Xanadu, my favourite Rush song.

If he wasn't your favourite drummer, he was your favourite drummer's favourite drummer.

We’ve lost to many Rock Icons over the last few years or so, guess we’re all getting on a bit, very sad. However, when it’s our time to move on, the jams in the next life are going to sensational!

A talented musician, lyricist and song writer. An even better man.

I must read his books.
