Got an inter_iew today for a promotion. I know I can do the job as held the same position for 7 years before going back on the phones for a bit.
Am hoping that this little break doesn't hinder my chances.
So.......think positive manager thoughts around 11 today  |

good luck and sell what you learnt when you were in the role before, have a sound rationale why you moved back to the phones ( nothing wrong with that ) but they will explore it with you.
get a good _iew of the the company's strategic objectives... new technologies, voice analytics etc etc
they may ask your opinions about off shoring and why companies are bringing their voice activity back to the UK
and mention the customer, the customer and the customer...

good news...
I used to use a capabilities/compentency diary and had it broken into the inter_iew framework
situation
objective
actions
results
aftermath
I would write up examples of great customer focus, teamwork etc etc on a weekly basis, so when i did have an inter_iew I had a catalogue to pick from.
