Is it just me that enjoys receiving a wink?
I like knowing someone likes what they see and I think it builds up a bit of tension between both parties for you to take it from there

I love getting and giving them.
Often started up a good conversation from a single wink.
It's a good indication that someone is interested without them needing to write an initial message. That comes after the wink back. |

I suspect knowing the disparity between the sexes on this site that women have enough to do with trying to keep up with their mail let alone their winks.
Us guys on the other hand tend to find it a rather pleasant surprise that someone’s taken the time to pay us some attention……   |

Yeah, I find that weird though.
Surely looking at the profiles winks comes from is easier than doing the same for messages and having to read a message or have backlash for not responding.
Winks 'should' make things easier. |

I don't mind getting a wink as don't get many so feel flattered I guess. I sometimes use them as an initial interest with someone and if they wink back I'll message, sometimes going straight to a message can be difficult as never really certain what to say that isn't taken as dull or not enough effort |
