I am fairly new to this site and have got to say I am amazed at just how good the women are looking for their age.
Honestly I see a woman with a body I would expect on a 25 year old and then look and see she is something like 50!

It is a backhanded compliment, though I can see it's meant well.
Why can I not just look good. My age should have no bearing.

I’m 43, I’ve had 6 babies (including a set or twins!), I work out daily and watch what I eat. I work hard to keep my body in shape! |

Nervous posting this, but I think it’s true, and ready for the pile on… but we know the trope about women age and men mature, silver foxes are very popular etc. well I honestly think that women’s faces age faster than their bodies. Loads of guys look great from the neck up when they pile on the years but their meat bags can be awful. For women, I think it’s the opposite, they can maintain a body of someone much younger with more ease (or maybe they just care more - another topic I guess) but show their ages more from the neck up. So combine that with the penchant for a little privacy, then yeah a woman with more years posting a cropped body only nude can look very different to if you see the same woman in clothes.
I know that’s probably clumsily put and I have no wish to offend any specific man or woman, but it’s how I see the aging process. I’m not saying AT ALL that looking older doesn’t mean looking great, just that women look their age (hot or not) less in the body department and more in face department and the opposite is true of guys. |

I keep in shape with bedroom, dining room , bathroom , hallway , group gymnastics, climbing on top seems to be one of the best ways for working out
way much more fun then working out down the gym or pounding the streets running and this time of year a lot bloody warmer  |

I've always been told I don't look my age and estimates have put me at anything between 10 and 15 younger than I actually am. I grew a beard 5 years ago to hopefully stop the baby-face comments and it has been the making of me in my opinion.
I don't make any effort body wise apart from maintaining a hillwalking level of fitness.
I've tried the gym experience and found it boring and monotonous and the queues for the mirrors too long.
I've no idea what an average almost 57 year old is supposed to look like but I'm happy being me. |

I should have said this doesn’t really apply until we start to hit what most would call ‘older’, 50s, 60s +, I don’t think it (or any) rule holds much water while we are younger than that, I think your genes start to show when they’re put under more strain to perform, as it were  |

Yeah sorry DM but in my neck of the woods (and on dating sites) the men in their early 50s usually look considerably older. Perhaps it just depends who you hang with I'm told quite often I look a lot younger than 52 (and not just by men) and ...it's sunscreen.  |
