"What a pile of high grade s**t, I was so disappointed.
Have you seen it, what did you think?"
Ive only seen the trailer and thought it looked disappointing. Was hoping it would prove me wrong when I get to watch it.
I won’t rush out to see it then. |

"I saw it and enjoyed it I enjoyed it... but didn't feel it needed to be made if that makes sense"
I agree... well made film but felt like there was no real point to it... Neo's story had already been told in the trilogy... |

It was … ok.
Worth watching to see Neo and Trinity back.
First half was interesting, with it being self referential, but the second half descends into your standard lengthy action sequences where lots of crash bang wallops, but nothing interesting actually happens.
Plus the fact that once you can come back from the dead, then what’s the point.
They should maybe leave the franchise alone but it’s all about £££. Best of the sequels, but that’s not saying much. |

Well, it was written, produced and directed by a director who specifically said that she didn't want to do another Matrix movie. Sooo, that was the result . |

To me it felt like when you have finished the main story in a book and sometimes there is 2/3 pages of how they lived happily ever after. It was like they took those 2/3 pages and stretched out to make an attire film.

That is exactly what she did, well, kind of. To be honest it definitely felt like a comedy spoof. |

It felt dumbed down, far to ‘updated’ and the fight scenes (while it was cool to try something new) were really difficult to watch. The nerd in me was disappointed that the nerdy computer names and concepts were replaced with gaming.
The visual narrative of the first film was so dialed in, every idea, shot, sequence was crafted. 2 and 3 (and animatrix), although weren’t the same quality, kept true to the source material. This just felt like a phone in post modern cash grab. |

Nah, if you want to watch it then wait to it drops on dvd. Not worth the cinema expenses/experience. |
