I often find myself wondering the same, questioning why i’m here, a one in a billion chance of my consciousness existing and here I am but to what end, what is the meaning of it all, why am I here? oh, did you mean FAB? |

Whatever Our Glorious Leader believes, most people are not stupid. There is a pandemic happening. Any doctor will tell you that people are still being hospitalised and people are still dying of it, and the new variant is not the "just like flu" BS he wants you to think.
All of that puts a bit of a crimp in meeting anyone new, quite apart from any issues such as profiles, pictures, too far, too old/young, quality of message and everything else.
It's a pain. Other than saying "I'll bring a lateral flow test to the first meet, we'll sit opposite on a long table, both test and if it's only one stripe after 20 minutes then we're good to go" I don't see a way forward that isn't Russian roulette. That said, bring your own pair of test strips to a meet and go slowly isn't actually a crazy idea.

No, but it’s relatively early days for me. I used to feel that way sometimes when doing the online dating, so had a hiatus and then back to it when ready. We all need to refresh and reset once in a while.

Jokes aside, I deleted my old profile, took a years break from anything online, deleted social media etc and only recently came back on here, I felt/feel much better for it |

I usually resist the urge but loosing vs. losing is one of the ones that I find difficult to let go for some reason. I guess everyone has their quirks .
For the (no doubt very few) interested souls, "loosing" means releasing something or letting it go (most examples are with animals like dogs). It's also what you call "shooting" an arrow from a bow.

I posted the same thing last week and honestly there is nice people as you prob will realise by what people say on here,
Have a few days brake and come back, get rid of all the negative people and speak to the ones that are nice it makes a big difference,
