More or less yes!
I am however a good cook, so can make whatever you like, I do taste as I go, and have steam coming out of my ears lol
M made a lamb curry 2 nights ago, my mouth is still on fire now!
That was mild as well!

"Love em all....spicey food is lush...
Mexican and Cajun food is gorgeous too.
Chilli is very addictive. It sort of creeps up on you and before you know it you start adding it everywhere "
Hot Chilli powder goes into nearly everything i make. Think the only 2 things i dont use it on are my morning cornflakes and my cup of tea |

Vary the type of chilli. E.g. Use flakes instead of powder. Brands make a big difference as well. I prefer East End |

Chinese chips are always too fat and greasy. Have you tried the "see-how-many-prawn-crackers-you-can-get-in-your-mouth-at-once" challenge? |

You guys are making me so hungry..... but unfortunately, as I'm allergic to spices, I cannot eat curries at all.
Indeed, any foods of Indian, Far Eastern and other origins which include spices, no matter how mild they could be, are "no-go" areas for me. I have to be careful even with pepper! |

Ah, my favourite meal excluding christmas dinner!
Depends what I fancy on the night really. Sometimes I want something hot and fiery like a vindaloo, sometimes smooth and creamy like a chicken korma, sometimes something with a twist like a lamb pathia with its sweet and sour concoction.
But most often probably a lamb karahi...oh, I could go on all night! |

Lamb Kahari for me too lately. Used to be a Bhuna fan, but started to find it too mild. Had a loverly one in a place in Bolton called Cinnamon at the weekend...was lush! |

I used to have a boyfriend with family in the Stourbridge area and there were loads of great curry places there. Baltis were a local speciality.
I used to have to ask them to make mild versions for me though. |

I erected a perfectly functional shelf, designed purely to take the weight of her cookbooks.
She still tries "new stuff" off t'internet.
No complaints on any count, I like it creamy so Lamb Pasanda is one of my favourites |

I'm a big fan of paneer. Curry Fever in Leicester does a superb chilli paneer, with whole chillies. I fear it's not for J though!

I LOVE saag paneer! My favourite dish is anything with prawns in. I LOVE a good King Prawns Cylon. But different restaurants cook with different heat levels. It's been described as one heat level down from vindaloo.

When i lived in leicester i lived in the asian area and used to frequent the sweet marts. Not much i didnt like in the way of savoury stuff all though those potato bombs could take your head off. One of my favourite things was aubergine bajii's with their chilli sauce. Bland on their own but the sauce made all the differnce. The only sweet stuff i lived was barfi, coconut or pastatchio in little squares but could never eat a whole one as way tooo sweet |

Agreed. I also only eat pizzas made in Naples. I usually have them flown in.

South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken is my favourite.
Also if you like making your own curry and you like them extremely hot then buy a jar of Pataks Phal Curry Sauce.
HOT HOT HOT!! |

Good taste there! Lamb karahi is our fave too. You really can't beat lamb in a curry, we rarely have anything else now. I like anything hot, sour but no korma type "curries" They're not curries to me.
Tonight we are having Lamb vindaloo, saag aloo, rice and garlic naan - all homemade |
