How many of us update our age range as we also age? I don't think I've updated my single profile age range in 7 years *goes to check*

I had a landmark birthday not so long ago, so I spent a while messaging people I'd always wanted to contact but whose target range I was about age out of.
Almost none of the messages ever got read, buried as they were amidst the hundreds of FAF one-liners.
Oh well. I tried! Maybe I'll bump into them in a club one day. |

In my experience most people that I like the look of block messages from anyone over 55,so that rules out a lot of potential fun. I do realize people have their preferences,but it can be very frustrating at times. |

My age filters are dictated by my kids ages so it increases every year. I've never given any thought to my own age and if I'm outside someones range then so be it, we aren't compatible and the reverse is also true. |

My age limits are set so anyone can message me if they want.
I don't see the concrete relation between age limits here for that and who you want to have sex with in terms of their age. |

As I said above, I don't meet, chat to or forum engage with anyone within 10 years of my eldest child who just turned 30.
I've no interest in them at all so I adjust my filters each year. |

All about mindset, as DDP said, negative into a positive.
This way, at least you didn't waste your time writing a personalised message to this person who would have just rejected you for being a certain age.

I've met a few who's age range I have been outside but they approached me, usually after I had fabbed a few of their photos, if they do check who fabs their photos and they like your profile then they will contact you whatever your age. Not much else you can do to try to attract their attention. |

That's the whole point of an age range. When people say they only want to be messaged by certain people you need to respect it.
Women get so many messages and they are already pissed off at people not reading their bios and respecting their wishes.
Its just spoiling it for everyone else.

Check again the day before your birthday and you might get a surprise as they may have upped their ranges when they had their birthday and before yours goes up again |

You should be so lucky, I will be 82 in a couple of weeks.
Take advantage of the 18 - 99 default sector, I am now out of action through health issues but it worked for me up to a couple of years ago |
