Yup, the boys are back, Thursday nights are now officially "Leave me alone I'm watching TV" night!
Erm, I say boys, but it's one bloke, one cat-based life-form, one hologram and a robot.... but they are all males lol!

Time?
It spanned a few years (nine series), surely you cant say it was of a "time"?
I found it changed when they improved the budget after the first and second series', and for a short time I wasn't sure I liked it, but it got better and in the end it's got better and better.
It comes down to the integrity of the four main actors, if they have adhered to the spirit of RD then it should go well. |

I still think series 8 was one of the best. Got some old characters back and were some good scripts. Having Lister and Rimmer together in the cell for some extended dialogue was great. Hope there's more of that.

Well, for me, that "time" was growing up. The jokes I found funny were adolescent and toilet based (as I remember it), that's not who I am now. Having said that, it was bloody good wasn't it!!!  |

I felt trepidation when I heard it was coming back, in case they'd wrecked it, but no, it's great!! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It looks like it's going to be another storming series. |

What's all the fuss about??? I saw about 10mins of one of the first few episodes of series 1 and decided it was definitely NOT for me, I needed something considerably more intellectual to occupy my time so went off to read Enid Blyton's Famous Five books again - a much more worthwhile use of my time. |

FYI - in the modern and growing world, intelligence manifests it self in a number of ways, not just the "traditional" reading and writing ability. However, ignorance is bliss, clever cloggs! |

RD was awsome for about 5 series but the last few were a fail as far as Im concerned. That being said the Dave 3 parter was very good, just a shame I was out and about at the pictures tonight (Dredd is an excelent film btw!). Dave being Dave it'll be on again soon...... |
