Enjoyable movie, if a tad too long.

Saw it with a friend at the cinema. It was awful.

Too long, boring, nothing new and crap ending

Never really got into Bond films ..... but, the other night, nothing much on so thought we would watch Spectre.

The intro music, Sam Smith I believe was a right dirge, talk about music to slit your wrist to.

then the film itself really lived up to my expectations, a right crock of shit, boring, dimly lit, crap plot, and much more was so wrong with it.

So back to ignoring Bond films for us

Think it's the end of the franchise looking at the lady 007 in this film can see where the story is going for the next. Which no one will watch, like oceans and Ghostbusters went.

Not wanting to ask a stupid question OP but I will anyway.

If it’s that good why are you starting a thread about it while watching it?

I’m glad I wasn’t the only person thinking that.

I went to the cinema without much expectations. But I was pleasantly surprised. Awesome film.

I can see why people liked it for the fresh approach, but the usual bond traits had been banished. So it wasn’t quite a bond film for me, but it could of been a killer.

like others have said, too slow, boring, after 90 mins I didn’t care what happened, still had an hour to go!!

The marketing people must of sat with the writers on this one, ticking boxes, for the wokey y crew. Im not talking about the female 007 either & im not racist, all the stuff that makes bond, bond , was almost nonexistent, when they did slip in the odd dad joke & gadget, they were so out of place with the rest of the film it just didn’t work it was almost cringy. As soon as I clock anything like that, it instantly turns me off & the illusion is gone.

The writers have made sure the nail is in the coffin for JB, I would hate to script the next film, where do you go with it.

If JB isn’t dead then that’s even worse, unless he had a 1950’s fridge to hide in, like Indiana jones did when that nuke went off, I can’t see how he can be.

Wow, didn’t know it bothered me that much! I’ll step off the soap box now.

Yes. James Bond wants to make a tie-dye T-shirt but things keep getting in the way.
