When I pointed out I don't have kids he suggested cougar instead.
I'm not even 40 yet! Surely I can't be a cougar?! And even if I qualify on age, doesn't one have to seek out younger men to be considered a cougar?

Ignorant of the true meaning. Ignorant of the fact they may be insulting or offending a woman barely older then them. Ignorant of the fact that not all women are mothers and some of them find that a sensitive issue.

I hate all these labels such as MILF, cougar and yummy mummy. They are all offensive to women. As someone pointed out earlier, call us sexy or attractive by all means, but if someone sent me a message containing these labels, it would be instantly deleted. |

Use flters then and block those not in your age range!

It's the first time I've been called a MILF and the first thought I had was "I can't be because I don't have children". Hence this post.

"A message I got today made me wonder, is it possible to be a "MILF" without having children?
Fair enough, no It s not possible to technically to be a MILF without having chilren. But some younger males see it as they want older females want older women. Basically a crass version of the Mrs Robinson fantasy. (Traditionally, older women/late 20's 30's or 40's had children, hence making them a Mother They Wanted to Fuck)
It is all down to age.
If I got called a Cougar, does ths mean I would sprout fur and be a recluse in the jungle???
Femme reckons being a cougar would mean getting stroked a lot, so perhaps not a bad thing. I'd certainly be willing to give it a try.
Probably best not to be a jungle recluse though as there'd be nobody around to do the stroking.

I haven't had a cougar stage, unless seducing one bloke 9 years my junior on a train, and seeing a bloke 10 years my junior a few times, quite a few years ago counts.
I was 28 at the time, so I'm thinking it probably doesn't. It was a very short-lived cougar phase if it does! |

It doesn't. I don't think either term applies to me but it doesn't ruin my day to be called either.
I wouldn't arrange a meet with anyone calling me a MILF/cougar because;
a) I'd know they were after a fantasy and would have an image in their head about how they want it to go, and would probably be disappointed;
b) I would think they were after ANY older woman and that's not flattering;
c) I think they'd expect a teacher and I don't want to be a teacher. In fact, I need one of those myself!
I do tend to dislike being sought out as a fantasy figure, be that an older woman, a Dominant woman, a BBW, or any other role I might potentially be seen to fit. I'm a bit more than a label, or a category.
Like I said though, it doesn't ruin my day. |

Unfortunately setting your filters to screen these guys out doesn't work since I have been called a milf/cougar by men just a couple of years younger then me
A milf is a term which refers to a friends's mother being hot, so really the age difference should be a generation (minimum of 17 years) not simply that someone is a mother and is fuckable.
I object to these terms because not only do they objectify me but when people use them about me they are being lazy and self-serving. These guys have seen a profile/pics they like and so think I'll be flattered by the attentions of someone younger than me and either ignored or not bothered to read that I am not looking for men who are young enough to be my child or that I am not looking to educate younger men.
I have no problem with the terms per se, but they get used far too easily and with an expectation that I should be grateful!
On other sites women are perhaps less accepting of their own sexual desires and urges and so prefer to use labels and categories to simplify things. On here we mostly know exactly who we are and what we want. I do not want to be called a milf or a cougar. If someone does then I am perfectly entitled to get offended and annoyed with them.
As to the original question: you need to have practically grown up children to be a true milf and the admiration has to come from one of your children's peers. |
