Depends on sensitivities. Body, I really like Aveeno Daily Moisturising Body Lotion. (The Superdrug Vitamin E stuff is good and it's much cheaper, but fragranced which bothers some people)

For face, really depends - Lush do a face wash called something like Super Bland which people recommend, can't speak to myself. Body Shop Aloe Vera range is incredibly inoffensive. Superdrug own brand again worth considering - fragrance potentially an issue but cheap. There's a Neutrogena hyaluronic acid moisturiser which is worth trying if you can get it on sale

Cerave I've heard good things about. A million years ago I used Cetaphil, too

Next Door

Try bio oil, or something similar.

It doesn't sit on the skin like baby oil etc, it gets absorbed.

Aqueous cream from a chemist does the job but it leaves you abit sticky.

I tried it after hearing good things and it works, it's often on offer too. Definitely worth a try. I still use Aveeno but it's nice to change it up and have another option.

I have very dry, sensitive skin due to an auto immune disease .... nightmare at times.

I can't use most perfumed moisturisers

I use Simple Moisturising Lotion on my face, i use the one with sun protection. Boots used to do a cheaper version but i can't find it now. Simple products are free from perfume.

On my body i use E45 or the cheaper version my GP prescribes ... i prefer E45 though ... neither are perfumed.

I am also able to use most Body Shop moisturisers, they are only lightly perfumed.

Thankyou all for your quick and kind responses. I think aveeno I will try and maybe the body shop. Where do I get aveeno from ? Is there a certain type or is it just one name type of thing.

The 500ml bottle seems to be pretty expensive in most retail shops so I order it from Amazon as they do it cheaper

I suffer with dry skin and eczema. I swear by E45.

No scent so doesn’t make you smell funky.

I also use oilatum in my bath.

Use an emollient. It locks in moisture.

Hope

This helps. X

I’ve started using Lyon’s Leaf calendula and marshmallow balm. It’s v expensive but lasts ages and so far so good. The texture of my skin has improved a lot although still dry and itchy at times. I’ve found there’s a lot of trial and error with dry skin conditions

Another vote for palmers cocoa. It's thick. And smells good too.

I used that and Bio Oil on scars from operations, i used them as soon as the scars started to heal. Both were very good

For the body I recommend Golden Jojoba Oil. I love it. Although I use it at night as it’s very oily.

I have sensitive skin that is prone to redness and hormonal changes(thanks to ageing and the perimenopause!) so for the face I am currently road testing Dermalogica products.

If its bad dry skin you need a good emollient cos normal moisturiser isn't strong enough and I should know as I have eczema

If your skin is very dry and sensitive then there's a possibility of a underlying problem, sensitive skin is usually associated with psoriasis or eczema etc, this can be deep in the tissue and doesn't present itself as the typical scaling you associate with forms of skin problems, I would start with liquid paraffin from the chemist, and no not the stuff you put in a old heater, it's normally used to treat burns where the skin needs help to heal,

The winter months are always a pain with my psoriasis. I have prescribed topical creams. But for inbetween I use e45 cream, palmers cocoa butter, body shop avacado butter is really good but a tad expensive. Face wise I’ll only use e45 face wash cream. X

For psoriasis ask your doctor to prescribe enstilar foam spray, it's a topical foam steroid that is a lot better at calming down scaling, and it will take down the redness, it's lots better than dovobet or similar ointments, it will make a massive difference

I love aveeno and also soap and glory body butter.

I have a skin graft and the body butter keeps it nice and oiled and stops it drying out.

I use superdrugs vitamin e range, but if you can't do fragranced things then I'd give it a miss, it's not strong but has some in it

I use Neutrogena body lotion. Works really well for my dry skin.

As others have said, I never use perfume or deodorants.
