I have a friend that is perimenopausal and with this seems to be experiencing clitoris atrophy.
Can anyone recommend treatments toys etc that may help. She seems to be finding it more and more difficult to climax. |

Seek medical advice for topical oestrogen treatment, which is the only solution for atrophy. It's caused by low oestrogen. These things must be prescribed and she may be best advised seeking the opinion of a urogynaecologist, a specialist in such things. |

I can't answer your OP, but I had this issue following childbirth and miscarriage. I found that my clit after each one changed and that different things worked after each event. For me it was all about going back to basics and forgetting what I used to like and exploring what I did now. |

Get her to use the Balance App and also follow Dr Louise Newson who specialises in the perimenopause & menopause. |

Toys won't help unless she gets treatment. As has been advised estrogen cream or pessaries, prescribed by a professional. Also daily moisturisation using something like virgin coconut oil and loads of lube during any sexual activity. |

There’s a brand of lube that I swear by. I get it prescribed it’s called “ YES “you can get a lube and a VM (vaginal moisturiser) really helped me with getting back into sex after surgery’s and various gynea issues.
