We've 2 holidays booked in Egypt, don't know if we will make it or not. Hopefully the travel requirements will be in our favour. We was lucky enough to make it this year.

Just had one a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so booked another one. Had a couple a while back and gad forgotten how good they can be. |

Had big plans but after a euro trip before Christmas I just don't think we have it in us with testing and paperwork etc etc
Going to try to do an Airbnb long weekend every month to explore more of the UK |

All being well will be visiting the holiday home on the Isle of Wight several times in the year. Planning on March, June, September, November and Christmas/New Year. Anyone there at the same time is welcome to meet up for a drink and maybe more

I'm itching to get abroad and do some more exploring but at the moment I daren't book anything due to the amount of gigs and trips that have been cancelled in the last couple of years. Hopefully normality will resume soon. |

Most likely one of the Spanish islands for a week around the May/June time.
Wouldn't mind going to Iceland too at some point, the scenery looks mind blowing plus a chance to see the northern lights if I'm fortunate. |

Got a couple of cruises arranged for Norway and Iceland, so fingers crossed they still go ahead with little or no changes. Then of course down to Studland for a few days here and there on the beach. Hope the weather is good. |

Apart from a trip back to Ireland in a few weeks time, I’m not planning anything too adventurous until numbers / restrictions calm down a bit.
Definitely want to go Seychelles or Mauritius later in the year though.
Would love to visit New York or Boston (love both cities and haven’t been for a few years), but that might wait until 2023. Similarly, New Zealand and Australia are on the wish list but I’m not even starting to think about when I might be able to go there. |

Nowhere abroad probably.
I'm stateless so have no ID to travel. Nor are we vax/fully vax and the rigmarole of the testing farse etc, I'd rather just take day trips into the Lakes or go down to Chester. |

I have only flown twice since this all kicked off. A bit more admin at the airport, but fine overall. And the air on the plane is probably safer than in most bars or restaurants as it is recycled so regularly. |

The testing farse (sic)? What is farcical about the testing? I have been tested a few times for international travel and the process could not have been slicker or more efficient. What experience have you had that makes you think it is a farce?

I flew once and it was all good, not much hassle, lovely holiday and then back on a plane full of people who just did not care about anything. Two days later was pinged to test as obviously people on plane had tested positive. It won't put me off but I was surprised to say the least about the behaviour of some. My motto is respect others even if you don't feel the need to worry about the virus and current situation. |

In Ireland, I also had to show covid cert to be allowed into pubs and restaurants.
So surely you need to be vaccinated to go anywhere other than your own country?
What countries / methods of international travel do not require vaccination proof? |

I know Uruguay don't anyway. I thought most EU countries ask for negative PCR or antigen if you're not vaxxed |

I’ve got a wilderness cross country ski in two weeks in the Arctic.
Barcelona with work in May (travel buddy is welcome….).
Amsterdam in September with work (again, company would be welcome) and praying I can book Thailand for November as it’s on my bucket list…. |
