I found three of my little boys presents still wrapped) when tidying the conservatory. Ones I didn't rush to give over Xmas, saved them for a boring rainy weekend - then forgot them. He will love them this year instead & I'm ahead of my game...lol

Do all mine in one day at beginning of november...wrap it all christmas eve while drinking my bottle of baileys....and listening to proper cheesy christmas tunes with smell of turkey in the air and a sneaky mince pie...

My Christmas cards arrived nearly a month ago, and I have already bought the starters for my Christmas and Boxing Day meals.

So did mine trouble was she had so many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren we never knew what we would end up with.

Remember one year i ended up with one of HER slippers god knows who had the other one

I swear to god she used to grab anything and wrap it

I usually have only the presents to buy for my brother, his wife and his son, but this year, that ain't going to happen!

Considering last Xmas after being out of work for 9 months and money was tight, I still bought them presents and cards which they got in time for Xmas, I'm still awaiting mine!

So, Xmas for me is sorted this year; cards for my friends have been bought and now all I need is a mortgage to pay for the stamps!

I used to be fanatical about getting my pressies in by the end of October, bit less obsessive these days but tend to order them en-masse from charity catalogues - usually RSPCA or Traidcraft then I've also done a wee bit for charidee...for my Dad, who needs nothing, I usually buy one of those gift cards from Oxfam that pays for a goat in Uganda or a midwife in Zaire or some such

I've brought most of my stuff already. As last year I shopped xmas eve. Will still get a few bits as I go. But all the big stuff is brought.
