Same as most of the last ten or so NYE’s. Eat. Drink. Then drink some more, watch Hootenanny, go upstairs at midnight to watch the free fireworks, call my family and raise a toast to those I’ve lost. |

"An early night probably and then I’ll probably get woken up by fireworks/my dogs going bananas. I’m not a New Years fan."
My dog hates fireworks too think there should be a ban on noisy ones why not just the pretty colors. |

Seems to have become a must have/do thing these days and throughout the year In my opinion only licenced public displays should be allowed. Safer and kinder to animals too. Your suggestion about a visual display rather than all the loud bangs is good |

Staying in with the dog, hopefully not too many fireworks going off.
Last year we attempted to get a chinese and after waiting hours we gave up. So this year we are going to get fish & chips. |

Was hoping to hook up with another couple, but that's not happening, we have each other so we'll make it a good one regardless.
Still could be pursuaded to an impromptu meet for the right people, has to be Isle of Wight though. |

Last bus is at 7pm, so I'll be home by then.
Straight into shower, then pyjamas n dressing gown.
Then Schnitzel, French Fries and ketchup made with Modena balsamic vinegar.
Crack open the bottle of wine.
Gradually remove myself from social media and forums as the wine kicks in. Open youtube.
Piss myself laughing at Freddie Frinton in Dinner for One.
Then pyjamas off, jump into bed and fall asleep watching youtube.
Wake up about 3am and marvel at the random shit youtube thought might interest me and has been autoplaying. |

Dog sitting for a friend, both dogs are very nervous of fireworks so I expect the 3 of us will be cuddled up on the sofa while I watch a movie.
Happy New Year everyone, hope you have a nice time tonight, whatever your plans are
