I was waxing for a good few years as I was getting shaving irritation and it was just tiresome. It's really just as hard as you have to exfoliate or you get in growing hairs. The moment you don't, for me at least, it meant trying to pry the little bastards out. Went back to shaving with a decent cream and razor and I've had no irritation at all |

"Laser! It’s the revolution I didnt think of laser, is it expensive? Or permanent removal?"
I mean it isn’t cheap but it’s worth it. It’s sort of permanent, but hair can grow back but grows back super super thin ! Like a baby’s hair x |

"Definitely laser! It will always come back but doesn't need doing as often x"
Yep and another vote for laser from me but definitely check re your skin and hair shade vs the lasers they have available. Although I'll stick with the hot/soft wax for certain areas.
sk:n seem to have a variety of good reviews and I contemplated using them but found an independent place I am over the moon with.
Another couple of friends (different races, hair colours and types) are using Therapie and are happy with the results.
One of my friends thought the Groupon deal she saw was good. Then wondered why her grey hair wasn't going. They didn't tell her it doesn't work on greys.
Epilators sound like they belong in the torture category to me

"Frickin laser beam!!
It would make a somewhat different scene in Goldfinger.
Bond "Do your expect me to talk".
Goldfinger "No Mr Bond, I expect you to become less hirsute.""

On a more sensible note, I use a combination of IPL and epilation. IPL is not entirely successful as I have some body hair that is apparently too light. IPL is also a pretty slow process. In comparison epilation is relatively quick and after a couple of cycles it has stoped being painful as long as I'm careful and dodge areas of wrinkly skin. |

"How about a flame thrower, lynx can and a lighter will do the trick
... easier to go petrol can and match
That would burn for too long though, you only want short bursts "
Blow torch then?! ...and mini blow torch for the extra sensitive areas! |

Would have more precision |

"Hair laser removal is also my sugestion. The results are amazing! Right now using only once a year Sk:n clinic in Leeds " I'll have to look into it but if it's too expensive I may have to go with the blowtorch suggestion |

if you are looking for laser check out all the deals sites, wowcher, groupon etc, can get some good deals. I have had 2 lots of laser on pubic area through those, it's done most of the work and I have a philips home ipl which i should use more diligently.
Legs though, I epilated them and used a hair inhibiting cream which I can't remember the name of, 20 years ago; pretty much killed all the hair growth off within a few months. Though the hrt probably helped there too. |

Wouldn’t recommend waxing yourself to be honest. Feels so much nicer than shaving, and after a few times it really slows down the growth and grows back much softer. Wouldn’t shave again if I had the choice. X |

At last! a cream recommendation! I was hoping for one because laser won't work on half my hair, shaving takes all day - not a bear but still too much to razor.
Would appreciate other creams as the old style ones were variable and often the cream was harsh and smelt funny |

I want to be constantly smooth, and only shaving and laser will achieve that.
Waxing, hair removal creams need quite a regrowth to apply again.
So I shave important areas, trim the rest down to 1mm. I did get some cream from barenuts on black Friday. Will try it on my crack! |

Rane has never shaved smooth so tried “woo Woo” last week, all it did was burn her lips and the hair is still there ! We laughed hysterically at first as there she was standing in the bath jumping up and down saying me minge is on fire ! Then it wasn’t funny as she was in real pain. |
