Took our Christmas trimmings down today as we had some spare time and are going to be really busy for the next few weeks. Just wondering if anyone beat us too it or do you all wait for the 12th day. X

Too early if you have them on. It's hard enough to put up so might as well enjoy a little longer. There are 3 significant days in the Xmas period, 25th Dec,1st Jan and 6th Jan.

I dont get to decorate the tree as thats fun but I get to take it down as it's sad. I leave it till the last possible day before the bad luck hits.

February at the earliest. All that hassle putting it up just for three bloody weeks, no chance. It's staying up. Fuck the neighbours and what they think. Christmas is only starting.

Think lights can look good all year round, we left a few up last year and they are on quite often, make's the room feel cosy.

Ours came down 26th. I prefer to get the house cleaned and tidied after Christmas, so no point doing a good clean around the Christmas Dec's. Had a sort out of the loft whilst we were at it too
