I broke my ankle in 3 places 9 years, was agony, 4 operations and it still is not right
Then I fractured my foot, same leg, in 2007
Make sure you keep it raised and once the plaster is off to do your exercises.

We must've had the same surgeon, broke my leg in 3 places and hurts like hell if I run!
Depends how bad it is but 6-8 for a fracture.......Mine took 2 bloody years (spiral fracture very bad).

I know it is horrid!
I was in plaster for 11 months with my ankle and 2 with my foot.
Regularly hooked up to morphine....

11 months in plaster, pins & plates..years on and still not right and mine at the time they said was one of the worst breaks they'd seen!
They have kindly offered to smash my ankle again to start again, I have declined!

Omg ouch you lot need wraping in bubble wrap.
Broke my arm in 3 place at the same time as a child.
Been booted in the arm by a horse with road studs in turned nice and black didnt break.
Have come off god knows how many times on my head.... how in hell i'm still alive will never know. maybe i'm just good at bouncing |

Funny thing there, I've been riding for 30 years now, never ever fallen off before.
The year before my ankle break, I was dragged John Wayne style for a mile, and they said I was lucky to have not broken my neck, only didn't because the ground was soft as had rained the day before!
