"I've just started mine, bad timing or what.
It's like one big joke isn't it, got my positive PCR on Christmas Eve of all days.
Get well soon x"
Thank you, and you. Thankfully I'm not too poorly, just like having a cold. |

"Yep!
Oh no! Did one of you get a positive test?"
Yes on the 23ed two lines, waiting for the results of the PCR. No real symptoms just a very slight runny nose. |

I've got a mini me in isolation so I'm isolating too. I'm probably about to come down with it myself along with others in the household. So isolation will most likely continue for a while yet.
But the bonus to it is that I've got my man isolating with me, and that so far has been a lot of fun and he's being helpful and supportive. Lucky woman here!
Bloody love that man.... Anyone want the sick bucket?

This is my third time too, the first one I was really ill, the last one I was basically ok, and this one has been somewhere in between really. Had the paramedics out on Christmas Eve but I escaped actually going into hospital. And now I'm definitely over the worst thank goodness.
You're absolutely not a fraud though.... just being sensible! And you can celebrate Christmas after isolation. It's about being with those you love really after all.... and you have that xx |

"Positive on Xmas eve, just done my day 7 test and still positive, so fully expecting to have to complete the full 10 days. Starting to drive me crazy now.... "
If you tested positive on Christmas Eve your day 7 won't be till the 31st. Also you need to test on day 6 and then again on day 7 and if both are negative you can go out again. |

Kind of. One of my kids had it over Christmas so was partially stuck because I had it just before. But his dad helped out so I wasn't completely imprisoned. Can't wait to get out. Family trip tomorrow and more attractions incoming |

I got my positive pcr result on Xmas eve which confirmed the positive LFT i had on wednesday 22nd, which is where I have counted as day one (in line with the NHS app), making today day 7. |
