so sad for the passing of a great groundbreaking dj,first woman dj on 1 and a wonderfully warm and witty LADY!!!. always on the ball as a presenter and always had an iconic look. R,I.p DEAR LADY.

I’d completely forgotten they were related .

She had a show on BBC Radio Wales in recent years - still as passionate about music and have lots of musicians from here exposure. There’s lots of people really saddened by the news.

Like John Peel, one of the few DJs who actually seemed to have an interest in music and new bands during that era. Most seemed to just be entertainers on the radio. She also came across as a lovely person.

really nice to see on here and all over the media how many people she touched, she along with the great john peel & my personal icon alexis korner the guy that turned me on to the blues enriched the lives of people who have a real love of good music. just seen the other great whispering bob harris give a lovely tribute on tv, glad he is still going. JANICE will be remembered fondly by anyone who heard her. R.I.P. Lovely LADY.
