Manchester (she/her)

I'm getting towards needing a new one myself, and have liked my pocket spring pillow top mattress a lot. Both firm and supportive but also something soft to sink into.

Mine is a Sealey, although it's not exactly recent.

I got an IKEA one too... It's a dual layer wossname firm spring pocket lattice with a layer on top.

Cost about 250 quid... Real comfy

I've got a reversible one. Best of both worlds.

Love my simba. It is however a little tall so some normal bedsheets may struggle.

I went for a really expensive, hand made, extra deep, organic silk and wool pocket sprung mattress on a fixed base.

Two things to never scrimp on - shoes and mattresses. If you're not in one, you're in the other.

I have a Sealey Forest Dreams bed/mattress. No doubt the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on.

If you go for a spring one then the more pockets the better- over 3000 pockets is excellent.

I have an MLILY one, it’s sprung on the bottom, memory on top, with flexi foam in between the two layers and around the edges. Cured my sore back, well worth the money spent

I’d always go pocket sprung , wouldn’t touch memory foam or hybrid even , I would literally prefer to sleep on the floor and save up

We had a custom made one from John Ryan, amazing customer service. Yesterday we got a Simba one which we just put on the bed, a bit more firm but seems comfortable.

Yeah it’s bad. Get a good brand/well made , doesn’t really matter how many pockets it well made. Try it out.

I’m asleep within a couple of minutes of hitting my mattress and rarely wake or move around, it’s just blissful. I find it really hard to sleep in someone’s else’s bed

"Premier inn mattresses are the best "

No they're not, fucking shite.

Always worth spending on a good mattress. Always very individual so best to test yourself
